Here are some nice things people have said about me:

I brought in Juliet to help develop our Events Programme when I was Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Mind. She wrote outstanding marketing and stewardship strategies and, by mentoring our Events Fundraiser, enabled us to achieve incredible results. She works hard, gets on with people, and is good value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Juliet provided some excellent insight to enable us to devise an investment proposal which has now been accepted by our board. She offers a breadth of skills which complement and build on our in house capabilities.

Juliet has helped us increase our events fundraising income by providing mentoring, consultancy, opportunistic thinking, fresh approaches and above all common sense and bags of spot-on valuable experience to our programme in its early years. I'd go out of my way to recommend her!

Juliet gets to the heart of the matter, turns work around quickly and engages really well with everyone involved in a project. She sticks to the brief and can win people over.

Stephanie Smith, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at St Barnabas Hospices

Juliet did a fantastic job at Mencap growing the corporate and events income streams. The charity became one of the biggest proponents of overseas challenge events, successfully bid for the nominated charity for the London Marathon, and developed a range of significant corporate partnerships. She has excellent all round fundraising knowledge gained in her role with Mencap and subsequently as a successful fundraising consultant. She has done some very good work during 2011 for SeeAbility, which I now lead and Greater London Fund for the Blind where I am a trustee. I'm very happy to recommend her.

I first worked with Juliet when I was Fundraising Director at Mencap in the early 90's. She was a member of the Events Team and progressed to a senior level there because of her consistently effective work. Subsequently I hired her recently to undertake a feasibility study and then produce a marketing plan for a new fundraising initiative for my current charity, Dogs for the Disabled. Juliet produced an excellent report, on time, full of good ideas, new resources and contacts which has formed the basis of a plan to launch the project this spring. I thoroughly recommend her.

Steve Billington, Director of Marketing at Dogs for the Disabled

I worked with Juliet around 10 years ago whilst in a new role as Corporate and Events Officer at Alzheimer’s Society. Juliet helped increase our Skydive income from virtually nothing to over £45,000 in a very short space of time, advising me on how to drive the project forward and developing our processes to support the promotional activities she had developed. She also helped us launch our overseas challenge programme and our flagship event, Memory Walk. With her help we took the charity’s Events fundraising from a base of £250,000 to over £750,000.

I learned a great deal from Juliet at a time when I was just starting out in fundraising, and really gained from her extensive knowledge and experience. I have gone on to use these skills throughout my subsequent career. Juliet is easy to work with, astute, highly effective and I really enjoyed having her as a supportive Mentor. I would highly recommend Juliet, she’s a great asset to any team and organisation.
